If there’s one thing that I have NO PATIENCE with, it’s Black people that side with white people over other Black people. Now, I know that’s a loaded statement, and it probably comes off as racist. But understand, Black and Brown people have been historically oppressed by whites for centuries. “Well, what if the Black person is wrong?” If the Black person is wrong, and there’s genuine PROOF, then I will concede the fact. But before I just unilaterally side with the white person, I need CONTEXT, and I need DETAILS. I don’t think I’m wrong in feeling this way, because this is how most whites react in situations involving other races, and often even after FACTS are exposed, they still take the side of their white brethren. Now, I won’t side with a Black person if it’s been PROVEN that they’re indeed wrong, regardless of the race of the others involved. I genuinely believe in truth and justice above all. But as a proud Black man, my default stance is to stand in solidarity with my people FIRST. I don’t think that’s wrong; I think it’s just nature to stand with your own first. In fact, I don’t even have an issue with WHITE nationalism at it’s core, because I believe in BLACK nationalism. My only issue with WHITE nationalism is that it often leads to Black and Brown OPPRESSION and WHITE SUPREMACY, whereas Black and Brown nationalism is usually just about protecting and building the interests of Black and Brown people. If White nationalism could operate devoid of WHITE SUPREMACY, then it would just be about looking after your own. However, we’ve seen historically that WHITE NATIONALISM and WHITE SUPREMACY are often one and the same. But back to my original statement…. nothing irks me more than Blacks who take up against their own. Blacks who constantly berate their own people publicly, who consistently talk down on their own people in white forums; I find them repulsive. As far as I’m concerned, they’re nothing more than buck dancing raccoons who should be shunned at all costs by the Black community. After all, they hate the skin they were born in anyway…..Lastly, for the record, to be PRO-Black doesn’t mean ANTI-White. I’m personally fine with White people as long as they’re fine with me. I judge an individual by merit and character, and I make it a point to treat people accordingly. But as a Black man, I just believe that I should inherently be FOR Black people. In order for Black people to move up in status in today’s society, we MUST learn how to present a unified front. We should NEVER come against one another in a public forum, unless there is absolute proof of error, and even then, it should be with the benefit of the doubt and with grace. For too long, one of the greatest assets that White exploiters have used to tear down people of color have been OTHER people of color all to willing to make a mockery of their own kind. These buck dancing raccoons often think that they are enlightened, and that they are shining examples of their race, when in reality, they are often ignorant bufoons, having not even fact checked the clownish statements that they often make. Yet the damage that they often do to our communities is irreparable, because the White community sees them as the representatives of what they think that people of color SHOULD be; “ If only all Black and Brown people were like this guy or this lady….”. As I said earlier, these traitors, especially the Black ones who’ve done so much damage with their ignorant rantings, should be shunned at all costs.
